Internship Scope

Continuum BIM is recruiting BIM Modelers for a structured pre-hire internship. You will join our production team to work on real-project BIM modeling using Revit across multiple disciplines in a multidisciplinary project environment. This internship develops practical BIM expertise while contributing meaningfully to active project deliverables.

Modeling Tasks & Responsibilities

Model architectural, structural, and MEP elements in Revit with precision
Create parametric Revit families and components according to company standards and LOD specifications
Produce coordinated plans, sections, elevations, and construction details from the integrated BIM model
Contribute to quantity takeoffs, material schedules, and project documentation
Follow modeling standards, naming conventions, and defined Levels of Development (LOD)
Participate actively in coordination sessions and clash detection workflows across disciplines
Collaborate with Architecture, Structure, and MEP teams on building system integration

Expected Candidate Profile

Final-year student or recent graduate in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Building Engineering
Strong motivation for BIM specialization and digital construction workflows
Working knowledge of Revit (any discipline: Architecture, Structure, or MEP)
Solid understanding of BIM principles, 3D parametric modeling, and coordinated design
Ability to read, interpret, and produce technical drawings and construction documents
Excellent technical discipline, attention to detail, and logical problem-solving approach
Team spirit and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary environments
Fluent French; English is a plus

Tools & Disciplines

This internship covers Revit-based modeling and collaboration across three building systems and multiple project disciplines:

Architecture Modeling: Walls, slabs, columns, openings, doors, windows, and architectural elements
Structure Modeling: Structural framing, reinforcement, composite elements, and load paths
MEP Modeling: Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems with coordinated routing
Coordination Workflows: Model linking, clash detection, and multidisciplinary integration
Documentation: Schedules, quantities, construction details, and deliverable production

Supervision & Learning

Your development is structured and supported:

Mentoring by experienced BIM Managers and Coordinators
Onboarding training on Continuum BIM standards, libraries, and best practices
Intensive hands-on training on Revit and BIM coordination processes
Regular feedback and progress monitoring throughout the internship
Exposure to real high-profile projects and professional workflows
Knowledge transfer and skill development in multidisciplinary BIM environments

Added Assets

Working knowledge of AutoCAD or SketchUp for design support
Exposure to Navisworks, BIMcollab, or other coordination tools
Portfolio of academic or personal projects demonstrating BIM or 3D modeling work
Experience with LOD and BIM standards frameworks
